New report: "Building homes, supporting urban regeneration and fostering communities through co-living"
The 'Why Coliving' campaign has just launched a new report on the emerging role of co-living within the UK's housing ecosystem, around the key themes of:
- Neighbourhood investment
- Social connection
- Environmental responsibility
We are proud collaborators on this campaign, led by Conscious Coliving, which explains what co-living is, how it can work alongside other housing in the right locations, social value benefits for the wider community, and sets out best practise standards.
This report underscores how co-living can help address the UK's housing crisis, support urban regeneration, and foster community all while delivering strong ESG outcomes.
At HUB, our ultra-urban portfolio of co-living projects will bring 1,000s of homes to well-connected central London locations, sustainable places to live for lots of renters who want a more affordable home within a community.
As our MD Damien Sharkey noted: “Co-living isn’t just an asset class, it’s a response to societal shifts. It’s about creating high-quality homes where people feel connected, secure and supported. The sector’s evolution shows it can and should be a central part of urban housing strategies.”
