A major new contemporary arts hub is opening at our Southwark Bridge Road site, Crossings, on Thursday 25th June, transforming the vacant office building into a new destination for exhibitions, artist studios and public events.

Created in collaboration with arts charity Hypha Studios, Hypha Gallery South Bank brings together almost 800m² of gallery space, a dedicated project space, a new showroom supporting emerging artists and free studios for 17 artists under one roof on Southwark Bridge Road.

The venue launches with three free exhibitions spanning sculpture, site-responsive installation and an immersive bio-sonic listening environment, alongside a year-round programme of exhibitions, pop-ups, performances and community events.

Over the next year, the site is expected to support around 600 artists, while demonstrating how London’s empty commercial buildings can be repurposed as vibrant cultural spaces.
